"We approached MTI a few years ago with an opportunity to work with us to provide a quotation to our customer for the manufacture and testing of water filtration units. These units would be used in a demanding environment, the end user being a major blue chip company that required nothing less than the best. We had a design concept for the unit but MTI’s experience and technical input was fundamental to taking this design from concept to a production assembly.
I am delighted to say that, with MTI’s input, quotation turned to order and that MTI has been manufacturing and testing these units for us ever since. This process is very much one of a partnership between our two businesses and to this end MTI has set-up a dedicated assembly and testing zone in one of its units for our product.
The product itself is a complicated assembly that requires accuracy and attention to detail at all stages to ensure that the units successfully pass through the testing process. MTI produce the structure of the units and then take this and our free-issue components to assemble and test the finished product. At all times, MTI’s approach to the manufacture of this product has been structured, professional and flexible. We have encountered a number of changes to the shape and fixing configurations of our free-issue products into MTI but these have always been dealt with in a practical and composed manner.
